No, not that kind of streaker . . .
however, I do have something to shout about
I first began streaking when I signed up with SparkPeople 290 days ago and I have been streaking ever since, in some form or fashion.
Not only has it been motivating while competing in a challenge, but I've also used streaking to help me develop new habits and attain goals.
Streaking the big stuff and small stuff is really important because it's stuff that I REALLY want to do but would otherwise not remember. (Maybe I"m the only one.) Seeing my good intentions listed as a goal on my "Other Goals" page helps to jog my memory.
Right now my longest streak is 151 days. It would have been longer except that I took a break for a few days and inadvertently reset everything . . . but what matters is that I kept the good habits that my earlier streak had helped me develop.
I'm on a 151 day streak of getting 8 cups of water each day, and a 146 day streak of getting 10 minutes (minimum, usually 30) of exercise a day, and a 21 week streak of consistently logging in to SparkPeople.
If you're having a hard time remembering all those good things you want to do every day, or every week, why not set it as a goal?
Meanwhile, while you're thinking about all those good things you would like to achieve and about setting some new goals, here's something that I hope will bring you a smile.
