Today's question: What happens to my mental clarity on days when I eat healthy and exercise?

I love this question! It is a powerful reminder of how good I feel when I know I have exercised and eaten well.

Whenever that happens, I feel GREAT! And it is not just a feeling. It is reflective in my attitude. I feel more confident. I KNOW I can get there. I am joyful.

It is reflective in the way I look at myself. I can envision my arms with muscles and not just flapping wings.

Since it is always a plus when I eat healthy and exercise, I must keep this in mind when I feel lazy or make excuses not to exercise. And, I must remember this feeling and not allow emotional eating to control me.

I know it will not happen automatically. So, I will continue to take the steps each day to reach my goals. I have, since Monday, exercised first thing in the morning. That is a good start to what I want to become a permanent habit.

I eat fairly well during the week, even though I have been putting in long days because of Mom. I need to figure what I can do differently during the weekend when my fatigue and anxiety kicks in. I purchased lots of veggies and fruits. I love salads for my work lunches and there is no reason not to enjoy them on the weekends. That's a start.
