I got back from today's run about an hour ago. I've already cooled down, tracked, had my smoothie water and electrolytes, had a bath, and iced my knee twice.
****aside: my knee did not hurt on my run, but as I'm working to prevent the threat of runners knee from getting worse, and today was one kick butt workout, I grabbed an ice pack. it has helped me cool down too *****
Anyhow, I'm feeling great. Those endorphins have kicked in.
I am a little worried about my next run. Tomorrow will be an easier run - I'm working most of the day tomorrow and may not be home tomorrow night. But there is no reason my long run can't be Sunday, or maybe Monday. It's a 90minute run. Guess it depends if I stay in Saskatoon tomorrow night or not.
I'm feeling a little tired, but that's to be expected after a 4.9mile run. It's a good tired. I'm not even as stressed out about the crap that has been going on these past few days. Mind you, my supervisor and I had a chat via text last night. Cleared the air. I'm good with leaving it behind me. But I was really surprised how easily the feelings came back up when I was running today. Guess I still had to work some of them out of my system.
Now deciding what to do today. I guess I should go and see about getting the trailer hitch put on Max. I've had it for over a year. Hubby said he had a friend. Well, it's still just sitting there. I'm going to get it done myself.
Why not. Time to get dressed, and get out the door. Go to see if they can do the trailer hitch today. Then I can always wander the mall.
Oh, speaking of which, I bought these bikini bottoms at the mall last night
What do you think? I'm thinking if I go to the pool right after my run, it would be nice to cool off and swim some laps. But there is no way I'm going to run in those flimsy bikini tops they make. So I thought of using my sports bras and a pair of bikini bottoms. I know I don't have the best bikini body yet, but I'm not going to stop trying to get there. Anyhow, do you think I can pull this sort of thing off as a swimsuit?
