Day 18 was Cardio Recovery, and that went well enough.

My little brother and I went out to Jimmy John's afterwards and had a nice dinner. But when we got about over-eating, ughhh. Lots of ice cream (again) throughout the evening.

I even took the time to catch up on Hip Hop Abs...and STILL had that sugary nonsense after.

I wasn't hungry, and I didn't need it. Unfortunately, I have this all-or-nothing mentality (that I'm trying to break!). When I had the normal portion size of ice cream first, I could have stopped and it would have been perfectly fine. But because it was a food a view as "bad", and also because I felt like I was going against my "clean eating" of the day...I just lost it!

So today, I'm starting off right (again...but hey!). Had a serving of Shakeology for breakfast, packed my snacks for work, and if the weather permits...I'll walk down to a cafe (or maybe Jimmy John's again) to nab a healthy lunch. I'll probably make breakfast for dinner (my college roomie will be so proud...she loves breakfast food!).

AND I've decided that, for the time being, I'm going to cut out desserts again. Even the healthier options, like strawberries with whipped cream, or low-carb ice cream. Right now, even the idea of "dessert" sends me into a failure mode. The key is moderation, but until I'm in the right state of mind to actually moderate...going cold-turkey on this seems like the best for me.

Also, the parents are coming back home today - they've been on vacation for a week, those lucky ducks! - so it's the Cardio Power & Resistance workout, and then a frantic clean of the house before they return. Fingers crossed! :)
