Essentially I have to get my head around this truth. I go along well for some time and then I just lose momentum. I don't even bother to make excuses for not eating properly or exercising regularly. Lack of time, the state of the weather, illness - none of these apply to me most of the time.
To overcome this lassitude and to carry me through the 8 weeks of the challenge, and hopefully beyond I will
Faithfully record my exercise minutes and enter them for my team.
Put a portable DVD player and some discs in an unavoidable place where it is possible and convenient to play the discs and perform the required movements.
Clear the things dumped on the treadmill away so that I can get at it.
Continue my hour or so of heavy gardening tasks every afternoon that's fine.

Basically, for me, it's all a case of making it
