Eating from the garden

Friday, July 19, 2013

Boy, I do love the summer time especially for my garden. I had some fried green tomatoes and they were great. I put some of my herbs in them. Rosemary, thyme, onions, cilantro and purple Basil. The best thing about it is they all came from the garden. All healthy too. I used just a little olive oil.

I really have to figure out how to have my fresh herbs in the winter too. I had a very productive day. I worked in he yard and I did my workout too. I also read my book and I will putting up some pictures from my finished projects.

Alright enough for now. I am going shopping tomorrow.

Goodnight to all

mmmm sounds delicious! I'm loving fresh veggies from the garden this summer. It's the first time I've had a vegetable garden. It's a lot of work but then again yard work = calories burned!

I love my garden too, but have only had peas, basil, parley, and rosemary so far. The tomatoes, beans, and peppers are almost there, next week. The cucumbers and squash are way behind this year. Oh well, it was a very cold spring.

Glad you are enjoying your garden. Have a great day. emoticon
