I made soooo many bad choices today.... cream and sugar in the coffee... 1/2 a churro.... an ice cream cone.... peanut butter and jelly breakfast... chips... you'd think I knew nothing of nutrition or math at all
But, because the butt does indeed stop here... I did make a few good decisions also.... bike ride at lunch... baby carrots for snack... healthy socializing with friends... chicken taco with no cheese and lotsa veggies.
In the end, I will win this fight, but it's hard to believe I tipped the scales at 2,000+ calories today. I mean, really unbelievable! I'm so glad Spark makes it easy to count them up because left to my own devices, I would have thought this was a light day.
I remember when I first came to Spark in 2008 and started tracking. I was eating mostly healthy food but my portions were so off the chain and my sense of calories so delusional, I was actually pounding down like 4,000 to 5,000 calories a day !
Well, as they say: Tomorrow is, in fact, another day.
