The day is much brighter today!

Thursday, July 18, 2013

I've had several good events happen in the last 24 hours. First, I RAN!!! It was only two miles, but I RAN! It felt so good and I met a person that gave me some great advice on technique, pacing and training. He is 60 years old and still competes. (I found out that one of my SparkFriends is 63. I had no idea! I hope that I'm as healthy when I see my 60's!)

Secondly, I think I found an artist that can help "fix" my tattoo. It will be a while down the road, but it gives me hope that it can be a beautiful piece of art, yet! So today is a much brighter day!

I hope your day is bright and sunny, too!

It's good to get back at it. Congratulations.

But, you've worked too hard; don't overdo it, and put yourself right back in the pickle vat. ;-)

That is fantastic! What an inspiration to meet someone like that! Advice from the experienced worth its weight in gold!
The problem with tattoos, if you decide you don't like them you are stuck with them, so glad you have a fix you would like without having to trash your skin!
Thanks for the jeans goodie and kind words :)
Have a fabulous Friday, and a wonderful weekend!

Hi, and I love all the great news. Way to go. I just started a very tiny bit of running and have never run before. I run, then walk, then run about 3 or times each, then I just walk, and I am 61. So I feel pretty good about that. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon I sure enjoy it. So I am sure you must feel so much better now that you can run again. Great news about the tattoo, too. So glad for you on both. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
