Spark on the GO: BrookHollow Park

Well, it's taken about two days for me to wrestle this vlog off my phone and onto my dad's computer, so I could post. Hint--Dropbox mobile app can be your friend, when it wants to be. I'm still in TX for a couple of more days and I wanted to send a shout-out while I was here. I have been sparking on the go; today is Day 833 and it was a two- mile walk with dad. We walked three miles yesterday and recorded a vlog together. He tells a really cute story; I think you'll like it. Other than that, it's been mall walking with Bonus Mom and walking at the Fitness Center at the hotel.
Here is proof that I was in the Fitness Center at the hotel. I sweated it out on the elliptical both days.
The Skittles wrapper in the elliptical cup holder? Not mine. Nope.
We've been eating healthy pretty much the whole time. Yes, I had to have Mexican food one day, but hey--I opted for ONE enchilada, rather than the two I used to eat. That lunch was worth every single bite. I do not regret a morsel. We also shopped at the same Farmer's Market I went to as a little kid. It hasn't changed at all! Exactly the same, exactly.
Texas peaches and cantaloupe, here I come!
Linda and I also made a fancy pants Caprese salad, but we decided to add avocados because we love them. Dad wouldn't touch it, but we thought it was delicious.
I'll leave you with this entry from my Creative Journal. My 11-year old nephew helped write and illustrate this. The prompt was to write and illustrate a ten-word fantasy story.
BillyBob the Dragon's fiery sneeze melted his beloved ice cream.
I didn't say it had a happy ending... Spark ON, Brave Sparkers!
