Yearly golf outing for work

Thursday, July 18, 2013

Every year my work takes half a day to go golfing together. Even if you dont know how. We all get on teams of 3 or 4 and just have fun. We get awards for silly little things, like most balls lost, and the worst team (my team won both of these)
First we eat lunch, usually sandwhich and chips. (but i may have overdid it with the chips, cookie and pop instead of sticking with the pasta salad, oops)
Then we get our drink tickets, we usually get 4 per person, but there are always extras so i got 6. I should have stuck with non alcoholic drinks......but i ended up having 3 tall boys of bud light and took the other 3 home.
Forgot to mention that it was in the mid 90's for a temp and very humid. Well silly me, "i could probably use a little sun today" so i just covered my tattoos with sunblock and that was it.
So i am now sun burnt from the top of my feet to my face, very sore from swinging and walking (i am not a golfer at ALL), and i was so dehydrated (even though i also had a few bottles of water) But it was def worth it, can't wait to do it again next year.

It's nice to feel appreciated and accepted. I spy a circle of influence that you can use to spread your Sparking lifestyle as you achieve your goals! Good luck! Not sure there is an "Aloe Vera" Goodie - I'm inventing it here!

Oh and when i put the sunscreen on my tattoos, i sweated so fast so much that it ran down my arm. So now i have one bright red arm with a tiny tattoo and a huge white spot around the tattoo lol
