Let's me reassure you guys that my doc's
advice to take it easy wasn't related to anything terrible. He just wants to make sure I am easing into things and not just diving in head first. He is the expert after all.
Truth be told I haven't worked out since Sunday and I'm enjoying this mini break.
I've caught up on some reading, gone to bed on time and just relaxed. My ankle and knees were bothering me a tad bit so I listened and just sat still. Now that I've hit day 4, I have to admit that I do miss working out so I'm going to do about a mile walk
this evening (just a light one through the neighborhood and some weights at home. Nothing too strenous.
Tomorrow (Friday) I plan to do some walking around campus at work and try to get in a quick walk around the neighborhood. I want to remain consistent and steady.
