When I got to work today I brought in the local paper and in the Obituaries was a Friend! DH went to school with Her, Her Husband and Brothers and Sisters. I have met them and They were My Friends too! She died of complications fro surgery. Only 62!!! In reading Her obituary it told of the things She liked to do and the difference She had made. So today is MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY for Me I do this most days, but I am making sure to do this today. We all can do small things to make another persons day better! Smile~it is not hard!! Say Please and Thank You and mean it!! Be a nicer driver. Tell some They look nice. Tell some what they mean to You! Tell someone they are special! We CAN DO THIS!! Spark People can do it!!! We are all very unique and special People let's act like it!!! Thanks for listening!! Love Y'all! You are all very Special to Me! ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))

When we lose someone we care about it's so rough on us! Hugs to you and DH for your loss. But it's also time to take stock in our life and realize that each day is not promised...the only REAL assurance we have is this very moment in time. If we all operated from that stand point it would be a WHOLE lot kinder world! YES it would! emoticon emoticon emoticon So I'm taking this opportunity to tell you that I love you, you always inspire me and leave me in awe for the challenges you overcome and the spirituality you offer! HUGS dear friend! Big, big hugs! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I just did this before I read your blog. I went out to the guys who cut my grass and chatted with them and offered them something to drink. They look sort of "tough", but they were all friendly and fellow dog lovers. That was an "out of the box" thing for me to do, as I am shy.
I am sorry about your friend. Her life was too short.

I am so sorry for yours and your DH's loss in this friend. It's always hard to lose a school chum, for sure! She was, indeed, to young to be taken. Big, big, (((HUGS))). I will do my level best to MAKE A DIFFERENCE for the better in her honor and yours.
