Still trying to straighten out my main e-mail acct

Wednesday, July 17, 2013

Sorry I have been busy the last two days trying to straighten out my Yahoo acct, seems someone in a different state got into it. I am hoping I got it all fixed now.

It looked like someone from another state signed in yesterday while I was already signed in on my computer and then it looks like they sent some spam mail of some sort out to some people from my address book, but most of whom they sent to, I would never send to and several came back as "Failure Notices", which tipped me off. As I hadn't sent any thing out and the failure notice showed the address of people I would never send to. I couldn't see any thing else wrong or changed besides that. But once I noticed it yesterday I changed my password. And then I called my bank to set up some new security stuff with it just in case. And then I tried to go back and it wouldn't let me in with the new password, so I changed it again yesterday. Today I finally heard back from Yahoo and I added a lot more security stuff to it and let them know that I could see the sign in from a different state in my activity log. So I hope it is done now.

Make sure you go in and change your password. I have to go in every few months and change it or I find that happens to me too.
