So today is day 4 of consecutive working out and I have shin splints... and on top of it I've got an awesome blister..
The blister I got, from having the bright idea of working out w/o socks because I got to the gym and didn't have any. Well yesterday I wore one of those blister bandaids with the medication on them, well the combo of the heat and running at my job fused the bandaid to the blister, so when I went to take the bandaid off to give it some air... it took the skin off... ewww.... and OUCH!! The skin was not ready to come off yet, and I've been walking around on it for 8hrs and it's screaming bloody murder at me.
The shin splints aren't soo bad yet, but I don't want them to get worse, used to have them all the time in gymnastics and track n field in high school. I'd spend every night after practice in an ice bath. Sounds horrible? felt pretty amazing when your shins are throbbing.
I think tomorrow is going to be yoga intensive... my body really needs all the stretching... muscles are sore.. and it'll be less intensive and give a break to my feet and shins.
