I've been taking a break from running for two reasons. The first was to give my IT band a rest and the second was for my tattoo to heal. I've decided that my break will be over soon. I have been really tired lately and I think it's because I'm not working out like I used to. I've reduced my calories to make up for not working out, but I miss running.
I have been walking every night for 30 to 40 minutes on average so it's not like I've done nothing. I did an upper body workout yesterday and some ab work, but I still miss running.
It's been really hot here so it is difficult to find a "cooler" time to try and run. I've spent much of this week taking the kids to dentist appointments, doctor appointments, physical therapy, ortho doctor appointments, etc., but I still miss running.
I sure hope that I can run again, because I miss running!
