You have to understand- I love the sunny summer days. I LOVE the heat!
Give me a reclining chaise or a hammock,
a good book
and a Diet Coke
and I am good for the day.
Today I had to travel to the coast and was anticipating a walk on the boardwalk or beach before I came back across the mountains. Ugh!!
It was cool (58 degrees) and overcast.
No beach walk for me! Fortunately, I did an hour on the elliptical trainer before I left for the coast this am.
That was a great workout! So glad that I am to that point again. I am looking forward to it again tomorrow. I have also increased my target steps because I was almost always over the 5000.
Tonight for dinner I did something different. I used my fat free Oscar Mayer hot dogs and slit them down the middle and stuffed it with a 1/2 slice of FF American cheese. I then "burrito" wrapped it in a sheet of phyllo dough, then baked it at 350 for about 5". It was delicious and a total of 100 calories each!
Tomorrow I have a dental cleaning and need to stop by some doctor offices to drop off materials. First I will get my workout in, of course.
Hey! I just learned that the Y is going to be offering Step Aerobic classes on Saturdays! I loved those classes years ago. Guess I will see if I still do.
