health and fitness

So, yesterday, my pick me up workout (at work) was just a quickie thing that I hadn't done in a while. So as I was doing it, I realized that not only could I do it, but I could do it faster, easier than I could months ago.

I didn't realize.

I KNOW that I am getting more fit, of course, I have to be as hard as I often push myself! I just didn't expect to notice it right then!

Then I started thinking about the other things I noticed...

My husband touches me more.
I'm not saying he was repulsed by me or never touched me before, he did! I also know that he loves me very much, but it is fun to have him walk by and randomly touch me in a sweet way that makes me feel like I am very attractive to him!

I want to be healthy, and always look for healthy items, menus, and make the substitutions for them!
I would not have done this a few months ago.

I work out, HARD.
I always used to, but it is nice to be pushing myself again.

And great news! My work is thinking of inviting a nutritionist and cross fitter over to teach us some workouts and talk to us about nutrition! I'm excited. It is also open to spouses. My husband is pretty awesome, but surprisingly doesn't know very much about nutrition! I never expected it, but maybe I just know more than an average person? Eh, either way, how cool is that!!!?

    Congrats! emoticon

I think we often get so focused on food and exercising and losing weight, that sometimes we need to step back and look at ourselves to realize how far we've come, how there are already some victories on your way to the goal.

What a cool day! The NSvs are great. Hubby seems to want to be with me more, too, though he was always attentive and never complained about my obesity.

All are great! It is great to notice the benefits of your hard work and healthy choices other than simply the numbers on the scale. Yea!
