How do you do your fig?

Wednesday, July 17, 2013

I always wanted to try a fig. That was real, that means not in a cookie. Today I was at the store "fresh and easy" they were discounted so I bought them. I had no idea of how to consume them. I crossed the street and asked my neighbor, she said you just peel them and eat them. I tried that but ended up cutting them. I liked them and if they are not five dollars would buy them again. How do you do your fig? Doing the cooking challenge on Bakersfield sparkers has been fun and great learning, so I am trying new things. Lunch is stir fry looking forward to that, I like cabbage.

Share some of those new and yummy recipes. Did you try to Turkey Meatloaf and the Apple yogurt breakfast that I posted on our page? Both really yummu! emoticon

Good for you! It is fun to try out new things to eat. I have been seeing a lot of recipes lately that call for fresh figs. So far, I haven't found any, but am still looking. Maine is not prime fig country lol
