Baby Isabella is Nearly Here!

Wednesday, July 17, 2013

The countdown has started. I am due in 4 weeks! I can't wait to meet my baby girl. I am so worried about labor and then the scariness of having a baby depend on me for life is overwhelming, but I am excited.

    Congratulations!!

A lot of the fear disappears the moment you have your baby, so try not to pre-worry too much. I had never even changed a diaper before my daughter was born, so I was astounded by biology kicking in and the amazing confidence that came with it.

If you need a reassuring "holy cow that was an easy delivery" story, PM me. :)

congrats on the pregnancy and near arrival of your precious baby girl! It is a lil nerve racking but you will be and do just fine! Coming from a woman who just had her first child this Jan...OMG you're going to love it. It's so amazing! btw I love the name Isabella. We were going to name the baby if it was a girl Isabella Rosalie =) but we had a boy which we were thrilled about...we really wanted a boy, long story! lol take care!

Don't be nervous...you will be completely shocked by how natural motherhood will come to you! Enjoy these last few weeks, as the weeks following will be tiring, though blissful!

As for labor...every body labors so differently. Just remember the end "prize" of it all! You'll do great!

How exciting and its not as scary as it seems. You'll do beautifully and your natural instincts will kick in and you'll be a great mom. We all have fears and worries but facing them, giving them voice and working them out takes their power away.

Good luck and congrats.

What an exiting time you have ahead of you,, I often comment on the fact that raising
a baby is the most important job that parents can do and the only one that does not come with a rule book and that is where your natural instincts kick in and maybe a
little help from the grand parents. Wishing you a Happy Birth....

Don't worry about the delivery as it is true what they say, pain does disappear the moment they put that baby in your arms. I was 39 when our son was born and we lived in a different country than our family.....it was scary but it all worked out as we could talk on the phone etc. Let me tell you though, I would laugh at all those people who said "you will know no stronger love".....it is true from the minute Noah was put into my life, I would give my son my life if he needed it....

Good luck and send pics!

Congratulations, what an exciting time! Always remember, you already have within you all the knowledge and skill you need to care for your child. Not anyone else's child, just yours lol. So when things get tough, remember that, and just get as quiet as you can inside and listen to Your Little Voice. You WILL know exactly what to do, and don't let anyone get in your way as you do it!

It is a fer-shur thing.

Signed,

Mother of Five, StepMother to Four More emoticon
