I am today in London after a week in Dublin and tried a dance class, unfortunately I mistook a sign and entered the wrong class.
It was an advanced/pro class and to my dismay half of the class wore pointe shoes while I had my demi pointe only.
I took the thing as positively as I could and the barre went well, but at the centre it was different.
Choreographies were far from easy and the pointe give you a magic swirl which I could not have.
There was a magic atmosphere though, but after trying one ore two choreographies I left, feeling silly.
I am still at an intermediate level pushing towards adv. , and I have to admit it's tragic if I try professional classes.
The positive is: I certainly burned all my breakfast , and even more, and I was not ashamed of my body.
I was not as thin as professional girls and boys but did not look as if I came from another planet, and my past classes allowed me not to go wrong and they just showed at the bar.
So maybe I should say it has been a spark success, shouldn't i??????
Keeping you in my heart & soul, dear friends!!!
Keep on sparking
