webmd gave me so many choices

I really thought I was coming down with "something"...I was unsure just what they might be.
I had been feeling very run down, fatigued to the point of dozing off on the couch, which I never do.
Aching joints and muscles, headache, and woke up coughing up phlegmn.
I felt this strange overall feeling, like I just needed to stretch and shake and couldnt keep still, like I was jittery.
Was sure it was flu.
I laid back down at 5 am this morning and slept til 9am, uninterrupted and probably would have slept more and longer had my son not woke me when he got up to get ready for work.
I actually feel alot better right now.
Not as tired or achy, headache has eased off and no coughing.
It must have been the 12 hour flu, lol.
But its so so sooooo hot here. We are under a heat advisory and it doesnt look like walking is going to happen for me anytime soon,
I squeeze it in where I can and hope I can in the morning, super early, like daybreak early.
I sure hope whatever had me feeling so bad is gone,
Sons girlfriend has been here for 2 days and has been a big help, cleaning, dishes and laundry, lol, feels good to be a lady of leisure,
even though I miss having my house all to myself.

Glad you're feeling better. Son's GF was a Godsend!! Dehydration usually can cause sticky mouth, but not phlegm/coughing. Hope you continue to feel better. I like the sound of 12 hour flu!! Much better than 72 hour flu, or 5 day flu we've all had before....

Sounds like it could be dehydration.

BTW - I have no medical experience whatsoever, but I have been dehydrated before and it just doesn't go away with a glass of water.

Take care of yourself Val

You could have had some heat exhaustion. The heat really does wear a body down. It cause fatigue like that. have you been drinking enough water ? this heatwave has been pretty bad. I've been guzzling water and it still doesn't seem to be enough when I walk outside. How hot is it in the morning ? If the mornings are cooler, try walking early in the morning before the heat gets oppressive.

Glad you're feeling better, but do take it easy, just in case.
