Recovering from my trip today

Wednesday, July 17, 2013

What a great idea that canoe trip was! We had such a great time, and I really loved paddling the canoe. So fun. I want to find a way to go canoeing closer to home sometime! 2 nights out camping though is very tiring I guess, today I'm still beat!

I suspect it has something to do with my diet. I really had a hard time going without as many veggies as I normally eat at home!! It is such a strong reminder how much better I feel when I'm eating right, once I have a day or 2 "off." I have so little energy today, though that may just be the heat. I'm drinking a big smoothie for lunch, hoping it perks me up! I put a full cup of Greek yogurt into it.

The scale was up a bit this morning, no big surprises there given my food choices over the past few days! Hoping it's just a blip and once I get back to normal here at home, it'll go back down pretty quick.

You'll be back where you want to be very soon. Every once in a long while it's nice to be reminded how good being healthy feels! (Even if it means not feeling so good for a day or so.)

Welcome Home Sweet Home! Glad you had lots of Fun :)
I think you are right about our diet having a huge influence on the way we feel.
But without a doubt soon after you're back on track "things" will smooth out.
Keep Going Emily you're enjoying the journey and doing FanTabULously!
