Thank you all my friends for your caring, concern and prayers... Thanks to Pat for extra reinforcement for the diabetes as well...
Today, I went out for our walk, but I invited my niece along...She doesn't know yet about her step-dad, and I had to catch myself a couple times before I said anything. We did our 3 laps and I forgot to add yesterday, that I had upped my water bottles to 750 ml (I know it's only 1.5 lbs, but having experienced bursitis twice, I am going very slowly with this so I don't bring on another bout. But, my baby muscles, really are growing!!!!! Must be making lots of muscles, cuz no weight gone on the scale. Thanks Bear, I do (deep down) know that even 5 lb in under 3 weeks is commendable...
I know there was something else I did yesterday that I thought later was progress but can't remember what it was. Maybe I should have a whiteboard or something visible that I do add this progress on to remind myself when I improved and to measure how much.
Way to go Patty on your bargain shopping, we should go together.... ah but then I would have had to share my wool!!! lol
BTW, BS today was back in the 7's.... but for my snack last nite, I had PR with the Carb, vaguely recall dietician talking about that...
Breakfast - omelette with onions, mushrooms and Mexican cheese, strawberries
Lunch - 60 cal ham, corn on cob with marg., namasu, watermelon, portabello mushrooms
Supper - ??? homemade soup sounding good ??
