My sister had crashed on my couch Friday night so Saturday I went for a walk instead of firing up a DVD while she slept. My knees felt obligated to give me a reality check.
Sunday morning I just didn't feel like getting up quite so early, so I slept an extra hour and went for a walk before it got hot. My shins protested then.
Monday was my Day 6, and I got up and did a Turbo Fire DVD. Someday, maybe I'll bump up my intensity, but it feels like I'll always be doing the low intensity modifications. Oh well.
Today was Day 7. Before I could get started on my workout my 7 yr old kiddo was out of bed and sick with a stomach bug. He was supposed to go to my MIL's for the day, but she had his two cousins. The great-grandma had a dr. appt. DH had to work....so I made a three hour round trip trek to the office for files so I could "work from home", walmart for gatorade and TP, and came home so DH could go to work. In reality...virtually no work work done (I have such a hard time getting crap done here). Got a little laundry done. No workout today...but I think I'm actually okay with that. I jumped in to this a.m. workout thing sort of full throttle. My morning was better spent being mom today. Kiddo seems to be better. I've gotta get up early and go to work in the morning. And now I'm behind at work. DH will be home sometime around 3-4am...switched to a new schedule and my sleep will take some serious adjusting. Wondering if I'll be able to go back to sleep after he comes in. Or if there's a point if I'm just going to get up at 5am to try for that workout. Ugh. I picked a heck of a week to start my a.m. workouts. Feeling pretty exhausted now. Better try to sleep.
