Another early a.m... had my "American breakfast"..... white cottage cheese, blueberries and red strawberries... just a way to think of my friends.... thanks to everyone for your kind and encouraging comment.s... so nice to have friends who care.
Buddy and I did a 1 lap walk (about 40 min) this a.m, cuz and we were taking MIL to town and I forgot my sunscreen (haven't been burned once this summer, and I am out every day.... being blonde, that doesn't usually happen)
Read some more Michael Palmer. Bought lots of wool at Value Village today.... had lots of chunky that I use for my winter sweater knitting...not usually that lucky.
Dh and his mom went out for lunch, me, I brought a can of kippers, and wasa and yogurt for mine... Dh got me an iced cap - that may have been the biggest calorie thing I had all day. Then for supper, we got home again after 6:30, we picked up chicken wings (only 4) and I had a can of yellow beans, a corn on the cob and a tomato for supper.... I realized tonite that I am probably way under my calories still for the day (again) and had an open faced ham and cheese sandwich with strawberries..Got a new bread... flax and quinoa.... very light, which surprised me, but 130 cal per slice, thus the openfaced... Proud of myself,, wasn't planned, but wise choices were made!!! I am still not having cravings.
The problem is my BS has gone up right away, wish it was just the heat, Terri, but probably not.... tis might indicate that I am very sensitive to carbs....will have to monitor and watch more closely.
Bad news - BIL got word from his dr. today - the cancer has spread to his muscles.... they left this a.m. to go to my mom's, and they got the news on the way.. prayers please.
