It is incredibly hot this morning! My husband called me at 7 am from his work saying that he forgot to put our broken TV out curbside. I needed to do it. So in my pjs and gym shoes, I lugged this monster out. It was dang hot outside!
I came inside and got ready for my morning walk but had my cereal and coffee first. I was still so tired. My youngest son woke up early too. I ended up driving him the half mile to the gym for his workout. Came home and walked my first mile. Had to come indoors to cool down. Just as I was ready to go out for another mile, my son called for me to go get him.
After picking him up, I walked two more miles. After each mile I came inside for water and a short cool down.
Now the most frustrating part... I got on the scale before I ate and weighed 189.6. Then I had a small cup of cereal with milk and a cup of coffee. Walked three miles and sweated a lot! Definitely a lot more than what I was drinking between my mini breaks! Then I weighed myself again and the scale showed 189.8! Usually when I do the double weigh-ins, I lose at least .6 pounds.
I am thinking that I am retaining more water than I think (my salt intake increased recently) and that TOM is arriving soon. So frustrating! I also think I am still in the plateau from last month. I looked at my last month's worth of weigh-ins and I barely lost 3 lbs with my lowest at 189.0. I have been very good with my calorie ranges, especially when I am walking lots of miles! Sunday and Monday I walked 6 miles and today I walked 3...so, yeah...I am in a plateau. It's got to be! Sigh............
