God Uses Us When We Least Expect It

Tuesday, July 16, 2013

You ever read something and it slaps you in the face, Like WOAH
this person said everything I have been thru and your heart melts into a saddend puddle because you feel their hurts and you just wanna give them a hug?

God sends that to you.
On days like today when I'm feeling blah crappy and like no one cares and im all alone God sends me something to remind me that I'm not the only one who feels the things I feel and as morbid as it sounds it feels so good to know that im not alone

God sees my pain and he comforted me thru someone else and he used me to comfort them.
It makes me happy to know that God is always here even when its not something huge going on

Thanks for this and Yes, I feel so grateful to know that I am His and He is mine. The lows can only get so low when you know He's in charge and won't give more than you can handle. You may be tried - after all, to burn off impurities, valuable metals must be put through the fire. Burn off the impurities, Lord, so that in the end, You will see Your reflection when You look at me.
I saw a wonderful show recently about a piano virtuoso who is presently 12 years old. Her mentor in the show said something that made me smile and misty-eyed. "Coincidence is when God prefers to remain anonymous."

I believe that God allows & helps us through the painful situations in our lives, so that we can help others when they face the same type of circumstances. Our faith is strengthened when we determine to keep our eyes on our Lord Jesus, no matter how hard or difficult the trials of this life may seem.

May we make the choice to allow our Creator to work through our lives to better the lot of others!

God bless!

The saying, "Misery loves company" has a positive connotation as well. It really does help.

My teenage son and I just finished a study together on the little book of Philemon - a very short book, 1 chapter, by Paul in the New Testament. As we were going through it, Paul's words to Philemon - "I have the authority. I COULD command you on this. But I WANT you to do what's right, out of love's sake." - struck me. In what ways has God been telling me, "You know, I COULD command you. I'd rather you do what's right, just because you love Me."

The story of the runaway slave, Onesimus, and his former owner, Philemon, had to take a back seat on this one. God was using Joshua to speak to me - and using me to speak to Joshua - in our own little Bible Study together. Your blog was timed right for me to share this with someone outside the family.
