Today I want to talk about stress. It is only Tuesday and I am totally stressed out. I am trying really hard to stay true to my clean eating and exercise. I didn't get to go to the YMCA today because of some work I needed to do with the taxes for a not profit I volunteer as treasurer. This is my first year as treasurer and I discovered that the past Treasurer did not file the taxes for last year!!!!!!!!!! I am meeting with the accountant tomorrow to see if we can straighten this out.

Also I am under a lot of stress this week from work. I keep meeting roadblocks while trying to help another department.

What to do:

Get out and go for a walk; go to the Y after work and get my workout in
Keep my goals in the front of my mind
Realize that I can't control everything that goes on around me but can control how I react to it.
Blog about it to get it off my chest.

Whew, I am feeling a bit better already.

    We are so much on the same page at the moment ... I am learning to deal with stress also but it is baby steps!

    Squeezing in a little exercise can help reduce the stress. People have posted that they do squats while drying their hair. Some times we have to be a little creative.

I'm glad you took time to blog today. Some times writing down what's bothering us and looking for solutions really helps.

    I seldom become overcome by stress, but right now I am awaiting the results of a biopsy I have yesterday. if it is what we expect, my life will take a change that will be huge for me to handle.
