We All Need Somebody!

Tuesday, July 16, 2013

I saw this video, and it made me think about how much we need each other.

Yes...we could do this by ourselves, but it would be so much more difficult. An encouraging word from a friend can go a long way to helping us get back on track...or not getting off the track in the first place. A gentle nudge in the right direction can mean the difference between success and failure.

So, when you see a friend who has fallen, remember the lesson of the TURTLE, and give that GENTLE NUDGE!

So true Ramona, It is the gentle nudges that keep me going especially now when I am not seeing much results from all the hard work. Then a sister leaves me a comment or a goodie that says emoticon emoticon and I say yes we can right back at them, so thanks for all the encouragement.

I fully agree. I guess that's why I came back to SparkPeople. I wasn't getting very far on my own. I'm already doing better and finally feel really motivated. So, I think you're right. The support of people here really does help. We all need each other to make it better...no matter what "it" is.

    Thanks for the nudge.
