When I was younger, I use to see the elders in my family and friends parents chowing down on vegetables and drinking healthy stuff... I would crinkle my nose and ALWAYS say "no thank you" when they would try to feed me healthy crap... thats what I would call it. HEALTHY CRAP... kind of contradictive when you think about it.
Today, I'm having fun eating healthier and you CAN make healthy meals taste really damn good!
Instead of your typical dressings I take macadamia or olive oil and mix with pepper and lemon, or I take macadamia oil and emulsify it with fresh avocado for an avocado type sauce to put over vegetables, or even proteins. Its a great dipping sauce too.
This is just one serving of brown rice (1/2 cup), 6 ounces of chicken (its in there I swear!) and asparagus with a little cheese.. I know. But I love cheese! lol
