Mid-Month Check-In

I made very reasonable goals for this month. Let's see how they're going so far:

1) Eat clean (whole foods, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, lean protein).

Right now, I have a three day streak going on clean eating. I feel so much better when I eat this way. But there is the siren song of temptation, especially on the weekends. I'm going to New York for the last weekend of the month. My goal is to still have my clean eating streak going when I depart for my trip.

2) Keep the streak alive.

I'm on day 172 of my nutrition tracking/wheel spinning/water drinking streak! I remember how psyched I was when I broke my previous record of 17 days! Now it's been 10 times as long! Gotta love streaking and the motivation is provides!

3) Lose 5 pounds.

So far, I've lost 2.2 pounds. I believe I can keep losing and meet my goal this month, especially if I stay on track with the clean eating.

So far, July's been pretty good! How's your month going?
