Today is Mommy day!!!
The babies are staying with their Nana today so I've spent the morning, one sleeping in, although it's not like I don't get to do enough of that!
but I've also been cleaning up the house and I've got all my chores done except a load of laundry and it's only a little after noon!
Oh and for anyone tracking my blogs, we have some chickens, we got four of them in May but one turned out to be a rooster, so he started crowing a few days ago and that's not okay in a rural area with a lot of close neighbors so I'm afraid Rocky saw the chopping block last night and is now in the fridge waiting to be cooked. It was diffidently a different experience, that was the very first chicken my husband ever killed and cleaned (he's eaten a few rabbit and deer) but that was the first animal I've ever seen cleaned besides a fish! It gives me a real appreciation for what it takes to get food on the table and what butchers and farmers have to do. I plan on having a farm in the future, not as a career but to be a self sustaining family so this was an awesome first step!
Picture five things you want in your life, How is reaching small goals today helping achieve these?
To be a Turbo Jam instructor
Have a weight loss camp for girls
The hubby and I renew our vows
Have another baby
Not fuss with my clothes because I feel uncomfortable in them
When I focus on who I'm loosing weight for, the glory of the kingdom of God!
When I look mainly at my protein, fat, and carb intake and just let my calories fall into place, have sweets and fried food very moderately. Exercise 5 times a week focusing on strength training I will achieve my goals.
I've tried to do it my way for so long, white knuckling doing everything I can "perfectly" it really hasn't gotten my anywhere! I've let king stomach rule my life for so long, but not anymore!!!
Well I think that's all for today
