Well, a really a strange set of circumstances lead to that amazing feat for me. I got bit by something yesterday and discovered this huge welt on my hip at bedtime. I didn't even feel the bite. By 5 this morning I was like, wow, I can't stay in bed any longer I'm hurting. I thought well ok it's been a while since I've been to the gym since we have been concentrating on moving Reggie in and getting his stuff organized. So I did a weight work out and did 10 minutes on the stair stepper which left 10 minutes to stretch. But, by the time I got home I was really hurting, and no I hadn't done anything super strenuous. So, I took 800 mg of ibuprofen and am now feeling a bit better. I hope that it's just the bite and it goes away quickly! And I'm also hoping this will lead to getting up early and getting my butt to them gym first thing in the morning. There is a spin class MWF at 5:45 and it will work perfectly! I'd love to get the work out thing more consistent in my life again.
My daughter got back from Germany on Thursday and she had lots of fun stories to tell. The group as a whole did very well. If she wants to go back in two years and she sticks with learning German I would do it again. It was a great experience! Even though it was hard on me having her gone. And I already told her she will need to save her own spending money next time. Mom's getting a little older and little wiser!
My oldest is doing very well in his transition to moving back up from Portland. He has been spending weekends with us, but will start working the weekend shift starting the first weekend in August. His brother loaned him the money to get into his apartment and that has been a huge fiasco...I'm trying very hard to stay out of it. And have had to sit on my hands several times to prevent myself from giving the money to my youngest. He is not in dire need of it....he is just not being very patient with his brother and should have never offered the loan if it was going to be such a thorn in his side.
The transition of Reggie moving has gone very well. We likely have this weekend to finish up and maybe one more day to clean the apartment. Which is amazing to me since we were in Montana for five days over the 4th of July.
Our trip went really well. And I really love Tammy's family, they are very salt of the earth people. Tammy is one of Reg's best friends. She is pregnant and going to be having the baby on her own, so it was nice to see how her family responded to her and we ended up bringing a bunch of baby stuff back with us that people had dropped by.
We stayed in Missoula and they have a great farmer's market...and everyone road bikes. It was one of those places that you could see yourself living if you could find a job and if the pricing of housing was more reasonable. Many folks have retired there which has driven up the cost.
Well it's been a while since I posted so I thought I better do the catch up blog...hope your summer is going awesome!
