Today Sparkcoach posed a good questions...what do you want out of life? It asked you to list 5 things you want...it could be people, goals, things you want to do. Just list 5 things you want. Then it said to ask yourself, "what you are doing today to reach those goals?"
So, what do you want out of life??? My 5 things were:
- to skydive
- to wear a size 18 jeans
- to be happy
- to be healthy
- to develop consistency
Not necessarily in that order. Of course that list is subject to change. As time goes on and I evaluate my life my goals will change, of that I am sure.
Next, what am I doing today to reach those goals???
Today I plan to stick to my meal plan. That will help me reach my goal to eventually get into a size 18 jeans. I will also exercise today even though i don't feel like it. I will also drink my minimum of 8 glasses of water to help me build consistency. I am going to laugh and smile today, even though I am still sad over my mom's death. Smiling makes me feel better. Nothing like a good belly laugh to lighten my load and lift my heart.
