So, what do you want????

Today Sparkcoach posed a good questions...what do you want out of life? It asked you to list 5 things you could be people, goals, things you want to do. Just list 5 things you want. Then it said to ask yourself, "what you are doing today to reach those goals?"

So, what do you want out of life??? My 5 things were:

- to skydive
- to wear a size 18 jeans
- to be happy
- to be healthy
- to develop consistency

Not necessarily in that order. Of course that list is subject to change. As time goes on and I evaluate my life my goals will change, of that I am sure.

Next, what am I doing today to reach those goals???

Today I plan to stick to my meal plan. That will help me reach my goal to eventually get into a size 18 jeans. I will also exercise today even though i don't feel like it. I will also drink my minimum of 8 glasses of water to help me build consistency. I am going to laugh and smile today, even though I am still sad over my mom's death. Smiling makes me feel better. Nothing like a good belly laugh to lighten my load and lift my heart.

So what are your 5 things and what are you going to do today to make them happen???

    Yes, I've just begun Spark Coach recently. It's a pretty good thing. Spark has made many good changes since I was here before. I'm glad I came back!

    1. have the patience to listen to my body while I am recovering from surgery. You don't know how much walking means to you until you can't get up.

    1. Live a long, healty life, so will continue on my maintenance program!

    2. See Canada and Alaska. DS is currently stationed in AK. Not sure when we'll get to see him, but hopefully soon.

    3. Learn Windows 8 so I can get familiar with my new computer. AARRGGHH!!

    4. Helping Mom & Dad when they need it.

    5. Making my fur baby's life healthy too by feeding him right and getting exercise with him.

    Glad you're allowing yourself to feel the sadness, but also allow those good memories to seep in.

    Mine are:

    1. To be as healthy as I can for the rest of my life and for my husband
    2. To be the best wife I can (he's an amazing man and deserves only the best)
    3. To make a career change and get out of the software/technology industry
    4. To go to Alaska before I am 40 (times starting to tick away)
    5. To become a better friend and family member

    My mom passed over in 2002 and I still miss her and will miss her the rest of my life.
