Wow I have been working on this journey for 209 days! That's pretty good!
Well I know I haven't been active on here but I am still actively trying! I am down 12 pounds! Woohoo!!! Life's been busy but oh so much fun!
I am still leasing Arthur... it was supposed to be a summer leasing thing... Well I doubt that very much now. I love him, and I think it is the best money I have ever spent! My trainer is teaching me different things now about bending and jumping, lots of flatwork! It's great I really feel like I am getting my money's worth. Plus me and Arthur are really becoming buddies! I feel like he really does take care of me when we ride. If I make a stupid mistake he kinda pins his ears (means he is annoyed) but, he will carry me over the jumps even if he should refuse them. Let's just say he is my babysitter sometimes :-) He is much bigger and stronger then I am used to... and my arms are getting wayyy more toned because of it. My legs no longer hurt after I ride him... well except when my trainer takes my spurs away!!!
I am going to go to Dorney park on the 27th! Should be tons of fun and exercise! Swimming and water rides plus the amusement park I really can't wait! My sister, her hubby, my bf and a few friends are all going!
School starts on Sept 3rd.... I am stoked! I went to orientation, I can't believe I'm going back to school!!! I should be done within 3 yrs. I can't wait until I can start using their gym... not gunna lie I probably won't use their traditional gym, but they have a pool and a rock wall that I really want to tackle! I would love if I could ride 2 days a week and use the rock wall and pool at least 1 day a week. That would give me 4 days a week of activity! Plus all the walking i am going to have to do... I work in the city so I will have to take the subway to the bus, to my car, to the campus, then another bus, then walk to my classes. I am going to be tired! I love being busy though!
I honestly, give credit to my busy schedule for my weight loss. Because I have been so busy I haven't had time to just sit around the house munching. I just think I have the type of personality that I have to be on the move constantly. If not I feel bored and get really hard on myself... like I'm not moving forward.
I am trying to go to California to visit a childhood friend of mine. She has a 5 year old Cross (Not sure exactly what but I know he is half Quarter Horse) that she wants me to ride. It would be a long weekend trip. I am waiting to see if I can find a better deal with prices. If not this year probably the beginning of next year. She is doing such a great job with training him.
Hopefully everyone is doing well! Sorry I have been MIA but it's working and you have to do what's good for you, right?
I will leave you with an adorable picture of her bf's niece riding the gentle giant!
