FULLY OBEY

When someone does something for us and they only halfway do it, we aren’t going to happy with the results. We don’t want others only doing part of what needs to be done because the results we want won’t be the same as they would if the task was completely carried out. When something isn’t fully completed, there can be all types of issues and problems that could last for a while until they are fixed. God doesn’t want our halfway obedience. He wants us to fully obey Him to show we trust Him and are willing to do as He asks us to do.

Deuteronomy 28:1 “If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the world.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know what You want us to do. You give us commandments and instruction in the Bible. Help us today to be fully committed to following Your direction and not be complacent in only doing part of what You want us to do. Help us with Your guiding hand and give us the strength, courage, wisdom and understand we need to fully complete what You require us to do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we focus on the things of the world rather than God, we are not being fully committed to Him.

Being fully obedient to God requires that we stop focusing on who is wrong and right and begin focusing on how we can help and serve others.

Spending too much time in debate about matters that we don’t know much about is wasting the time that God has planned for us to serve Him and others.

What others do or what they don’t do shouldn’t keep us from doing what God has called us to do.

God has work for us to do. We must obey Him fully knowing that if we deviate in any other direction, we will not be doing His will.

Joshua 23:6 ““So be very careful to follow everything Moses wrote in the Book of Instruction. Do not deviate from it, turning either to the right or to the left.“ (NLT)
