When we face our fears, we can find our freedom - Joyce Meyer Ministries

I'm beginning to face mine - my "fear of". My fear of walking in jeans when everyone else is walking in shorts has been a big one for me but I'm slowly overcoming it as I'm realizing that as I'm walking and saying hi and them move one way and I the other that they really don't care what I'm wearing as I don't think they really are paying attention. It has been ALL IN MY MIND!!! You all knew that (those that gave encourgement) - it was me - me that had to realize it - lol - it gets easier each time I go out.

ok - enough - on to my walk - it was another short one and today I let the sounds of nature be my podcast.

I took the same paths as yesterday and more pics

In the bee garden going into the park - these are daisys

Past the Labyrinth again this time minus people laying about - lol

Took the shady path that snaked around past some condos and a very sunny walk back toward the car

Stopped again at the bee garden and took these pictures -

This is called Cosmic Eye Coreopsis

This is (blue) Bachelor Button - petunias and alyssum

There are a few other areas of this park I haven't walked around yet - they have a herb garden and a water garden and a big open area with a gazebo and I'll walk those areas when my hip allows me more than a 10 min walk (maybe I should take some aspirin - ya think? lol)

Hope everyone has a sparkling week!

I enjoy your blog as I love all the nature you bring into it with your pictures. I can feel the tranquility which would come from these walks, as long as you don't have a big crowd around as you are walking.
I hope you hip is getting better. It makes it difficult when we're having pain while we're walking. Depending on the pain area, sometimes those little walks make the soreness and stiffness go away.
I just enjoy your photography so much. You continue to educate me on flowers.
