So, back to reality for me! My amazing vacation in the mountains is over. I spent 20 hours in the car yesterday coming home and I am wiped out! We had a wonderful time with lots of firsts for me! I actually spent 2 hours this morning loading my hiking pictures and writing my blog, only to accidentally hit the wrong key somehow and erase it all!!!! I didn't have the energy to redo it, so I'll try again in the morning.

I did successfully complete the hike with DS! It was harder than I could have ever imagined, but the feeling of actually making it to the top was also more exhilarating than anything I have ever felt before! I just wanted to cry!

Here is a sneak peak of me at the top! I'll share the rest with you later!

Today was spent just relaxing and recovering from yesterday. I will get back into my routine tomorrow and start chiseling away at those 170's!

That's all for now. I am excited to be able catch up with all of you through your blogs again. I have missed you!

Think back to 245. What you looked like & how you felt. Look at that beautiful , young, STRONG woman.
YOU climbed a MOUNTAIN, Dachelle !!!!! You did it ! I had NO doubts. emoticon

emoticon Wow, what an accomplishment, and what beautiful proof. Looks like a picture that needs to be framed and hung in a prominent place! That scene is breathtaking, and I imagine it was even more impressive in person... and what it represents is even more grand. The fact that you had the chance to share that with your son, well, it's something I imagine neither of you will ever forget.

I've done the same thing with blogs (and emails!) and know that sinking feeling when all that work just disappears...I'm so sorry it happened to you.

Welcome back to your "other" world today, Dachelle, never boring, always enlightening, and filled with love, appreciation, and new goals.
emoticon :) Gail
