And it keeps going on... also interview tomorrow

Monday, July 15, 2013

Well, I took the lottery tickets that I won the 20.00 off of back and used 5.00 to get more lottery tickets and the rest for groceries... I came back home and won 26.00 so.... apparently this is how I'm going to pay the medical bill I was going to be short paying on. I have two and because I'm unemployed I have a payment plan of 35.00/month for each of them. After meeting all my bills except rent I was short 15.00 so.... I'll use the one ticket that I won 6.00 on to fund the lottery thing some more - considering that these all came about from a set of lottery tickets from Christmas I'm kind of surprised but pleasantly so.

I have a job interview tomorrow at 2 for a part-time test administrator - hopefully it's close by and not a 30 minute drive one way, that would eat up half of one week's of pay right there. Hopefully I'll get it and be able to get going - I am definitely going to be short this month so right now I'm trying to figure out how to come up with the money without having to borrow. Oh well. Target is finally hiring and I'll apply there, kind of worried about that one but at this point, I think I can suck up any physical discomfort from being on my feet or whatever all day for money - my last retail job I had to quit at my doctor's insistence - since I don't have a doctor right now I'm just going to ignore that advice and get a freakin job if possible.

Getting ready for bed right now, my hours have been a bit wonky - Trouble woke me up early today screaming her head off - apparently she got lost (again) in the laundry room. I have no idea why she keeps getting lost there of all places but... I have got to call the vet about her tomorrow and see if they can work with me about her thyroid medication. I would love for them to look her over as well but I can only use up to my care credit limit so it's not like I can get a lot done and that includes not getting her t-count done, that is one expensive test! I want them to look at her hearing since she has gone deaf but....

Here is a picture of my baby girl Trouble holding onto her foot while sleeping:

What an adorable picture of Trouble. Got my fingers crossed for your job interview. So glad that you are getting some money here and there. As far as your medications for Trouble I would ask the vet if he gets samples of what Trouble uses. If not is there a way you could contact the supplier themself and ask for the drug explaining your situation. Hope it all comes together for you . Hugs. Pat

It's always nice to be winning in the lottery, and I did the same as you are when I was still working (we could win $1 or $5 scratchers at one of my jobs). Just remember that gambling is addictive, and scratchers tend to hook 'poor' people easily because it's easy to forget how much money is going into them and how little is coming from them. As long as you resolve to not buy any yourself, and only spend a small amount of your winnings on them, that's not bad. Just make sure you don't say "that was fun so I'm going to just buy a few more to see if I can beat that streak" and end up losing a lot. I ended up over $100 in the hole, just happened to win $100 on one card, and said I need to stop playing unless they're free.

I hope you get one of these jobs! I hope you were able to learn from what I said in your other blog, and can use that info to impress them even more.
