Week 14 weigh in...

The above pic is of me (before diet at about 380 lbs) with my 3 dogs...Sheila (Chihuahua) on the left laying by my leg, Harley (Chihuahua) on the right. He is the white dog, and Chance (Pitbull Terrier) on the right. The big brown dog...lol.

So weigh in today I lost 1 lb. Was 334.0 last week and am 333.0 this week. That puts me at 47 lbs lost since I started 3 1/2 months ago...That is the most ever lost! I can't believe I am close to 50 lbs lost!! Its so amazing and I never really thought it was possible...but I am finally trusting this diet, actually lifestyle change, more and more...it hasn't let me down yet. I am going to write another blog about that later and give you guys a bit of background on me...

So I have also decided I need to start doing some exercise. But my problem is I HATE exercise and just can't seem to get up the motivation to start...I have to find stuff that doesn't seem like exercise...thats where the geocaching came in...its lots of fun, lots of walking and sometimes hiking and doesn't seem like exercise. But with summer full upon us, its just to hot for me so I am gonna start doing some of the workout DVD's. I have tried Turbo Jam...which I do like and I also love Tae Bo...I decided to try out some Zumba and Belly Dancing too...

Hopefully that will get me moving! I will make a goal to start that next Monday...

    Housework is good exercise, so I make a point of doing an hour a day. I set the timer and do it in 10 minutes stints. I listen to audio books while I exercise (get them free online from your library).

I am cheering you on and know you will hit the 50 pound mark soon!

    I definitely like geocaching in cool weather. But in the hot weather head to the water!

    CONGRATULATIONS ON THE WEIGHT LOSE. IF YOU HATE EXERCISE, BUT LIKE TO DANCE. PUT ON SOME MUSIC AND DANCE THE WEIGHT OFF. REMEMBER TO DRINK AT LEAST 8 TO 12 GLASSES OF WATER EACH AND EVERY DAY. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY, ENJOY YOURSELF.

    Good for you! You must feel terrific! Congratulations on your results! Have you tried looking into the Walking Away The Pounds DVDs? They're a lot of fun, and there's 1 mile, 2 mile, etc. I really like them. All the best on your journey!
