I've been reading about blended salads and thought that might give me a few more options while I can't eat solid foods. I perused recipes online and thought I had in mind what I wanted in my first attempt. I don't like avocado, so I didn't have any on hand and didn't try any even though most of the recipes I found used it.
-- carrots, tomatoes, celery, cucumber, pineapple, and spinach
-- in my 1500 professional ninja, single serve attachment
-- ended up thick and lumpy. I could drink it, but it was warm and not very good flavor or texture
-- added some ice and Ken's Raspberry Walnut dressing. Made it palatable, at least, and I drank most of it, but still couldn't finish it and I don't think I'll try another one!
Sticking to my green smoothies from now on!
