I have joined the 5% challenge again for summer and we have activities we do before the challenge starts. This was today's activities.
Today's assignment is to list all the reasons you want to lose weight. What do you want to change? How do you want to look? How do you want to feel? What things will you be able to do in the future with a slimmer healthier body? And list all the OTHER things that you want to change!
My reasons for losing weight are mainly to get to a healthy weight and feel better. I think a side reason would be to get into smaller size clothes. I have gone down from a 20 to an 18 in pants but I'd so like to see a 16 soon.
One of the changes I would like to see is for the scales to start moving again. Last challenge I only lost 2lbs so I would like to change that and lose at least 5lbs this next go round. I also want one of my changes to be honesty with myself and how I really need to look at exercise as something that I need to do for health issues. I'm not so worried about how I look but would mainly like my clothes to fit better. I would love to be able to hike again and know that if I pull off enough weight soon that it will help my bad back. Another thing I want to change is to try to have more fun at exercise. I just need to find something I enjoy and stick with it.
