Brain Fart Monday

Yep...I had a brain fart this morning. I walked out of the house without my workout gear!
So no gym workout for me today. I have been trying to do a lap around the second floor of my work building every few hours, just to get steps on my Fitbit. So far I've made my daily goal of 3K, plus some. But I feel crappy about no work out. I will do one at home tonight. Even if I have to flog myself with a wet noodle to do it!
You'd think that missing my workout, I'd be extra careful in my eating...but no...I had some Strawberry Whoppers and some mini Twix bars. I'll log those as soon as I;m done with this blog. And then make another lap around the building.
The weekend wasn't too bad. I did really well on the eating side of it. And while I didn't have a formal workout to do (I seldom workout on the weekends!), I did do some walking. We went to Fry's on Sat morning and got there before they opened, by like 30 mins or so. So while hubby waited in the car, I went walking. By the time they opened the store I had over 10K steps! The rest of the day walking was all gravy!
Then Sunday, I did laundry and helped pull the floor boards up in the back of the race trailer. Manual labor in hot temps = lots of sweat! Plus Sunday...we got tied up and didn't even eat until dinner time.
We had to stop at Lowe's on the way home from shopping on Sat and we ended up buying a new vacuum cleaner. My old still works. but the new one is stronger and has the Pet hair attachment. We also had to buy a new wireless router, our old one was flaky. Everything connected to it just fine except our wireless printer. In the end I got frustrated and just used the USB to connect to my PC, then shared it on our home network with hubby's PC. That's how it will stay for now, until I figure out why it's not connecting.
Dinner tonight is whatever I have in the freezer. I do have left over chicken enchiladas, but after the sweets today at work, I probably don't need any add salt intake weight! Speaking of weight..after the weekend I was DOWN a few oz!
