Black Mountain Ranch Washington - July 2013 Family Time

Assignment 3

What do you want to change?

I will add more healthy habits to the ones I already made.
I will exercise more.
I will add some new recipes to our daily meals.

How do you want to look?

I want to look happy and healthy.

How do you want to feel?

I want more energy and enthusiasm to try new things!

What things will you be able to do in the future with a slimmer healthier body?

I want a sea-doo and I need more overall body strength to load and handle it.
I would like to try kayaking but need more upper body strength to get started.

And list all the OTHER things that you want to change!

I want to spread the Spark to my family and friends so they can enjoy long healthy lives.

Assignment 2 - updated my Spark page

Assignment 1 - I need a new exercise plan. I am on a losing streak this year and now is the time to add new physical goals to prepare for kayaking and other things I will do in the future.

At present I am consistent with my daily walk but need to have strength training days and focus on whole body exercises. Also time to get a few more pieces of workout clothes and ditch the ones from 40 pounds ago.

Cardio Plan - increase the intensity and minutes of walking. Make a park route that includes coming up the big hill. Treadmill - set it up in games room, make computer desk and add a TV. Walk 15 minutes daily minimum.

Strength Training - Spark exercises for upper, core and lower and whole body exercises. Work on plank daily!

Yoga - TV show

Diet - I will continue my current eating plan - increased fiber and stay within calorie range. Again - cut out the glass of wine before dinner.

For 56 days of the Challenge - I will exercise daily for a minimum of 15 minutes. I will follow The Full Plate Diet and watch the calories and portion sizes. On my Team page I will record my daily exercise and Living the Good Life Points, and on Saturdays I will weigh in and record it. As I have time I will check in with my team and leave a comment on the Discussion Board, and read and comment on blogs.

Sounds like a great plan! Getting new workout clothes will be fun. It's always fun to buy smaller clothes! I tried kayaking for a bit on our recent camping trip. It was fun! It's amazing how those things just cut through the water and go so fast.

Keep up the losing streak, you're doing fantastic!

Substitute the wine for grape juice. Never cut out anything. Sub it.
