High Blood Pressure - Another reason for me to keep pushing.

Taking my blood pressure reading has become just as much a part of my weight/fitness program as my eating and exercising. Keeping track of the numbers is very important. I can't wait until I can get off the medicine and finally declare victory over this disease. I know there is a chance that nothing I do will keep me off medicine but I won't stop trying. High blood pressure be gone!

    Praying that as you lose the weight and become more active you won't need the medicine any more. emoticon When I started this journey my first goal was not get diabetes like my sister and the other was to not develop high blood pressure. I didn't have high blood pressure but it was a lot higher before losing the weight and exercising. I thank God everyday for good health. I see the struggles my mom and sisters have.

    I had high blood pressure and I was on medication. After, I lost weight, I went into the doctors and he said, I no longer need to take high blood pressure medicine. I hope, the same thing happens for you.

    Sometimes weight loss will help but not in all cases. Good luck getting yours down to normal readings!
