Breakfast and ouch

Monday, July 15, 2013

I was in bed this morning when my son knocked on the bedroom door.
'Have you got any batteries?' '
'No' i said
'Yes you do in the top drawer.'
I hand over two batteries.
How did he know what was in the drawer? My daughter wants perfume or some form of cream and she goes straight to it in MY ROOM. Sometimes I can't remember where I put something but she always knows where everything is, and she doesn't even live here any more. I remember when they were teenagers and I went into their room for any reason, wow 'get out Mum I have a right to privacy. Keep out!'

I always eat breakfast. Something that I have noticed is that if I eat a protein, eggs fish or beans, I stay fuller for longer. I had tomatoes on toast one day and I enjoyed it and got 4 servings of veg, but I was famished by mid morning. Another day I had a slim fast milk shake, that was a disaster as my blood sugar plunged an hour later and I got very edgy and irritable. I have learned that I must have some form of protein in the morning.

I keep going on about how hot it is here, today seemed hotter than ever. I put some heavy washing out to dry in the garden. I went out with bare feet to get it in and burnt my feet, not badly but they stung.

Anyway off to bed now another day accomplished.

No one know where things are here, not even me. Gabe my one grandson may know more than anyone else. You should have put an egg with your tomatoes and toast. I had oatmeal, toast and a sliced boiled egg for breakfast this morning.
I don' know how long it takes to melt, but I am well on my way. I just wish it was quicker. I walk out and come back in wringing wet. I would wash a load of clothes and hang them out, but will probably wait til the humidity isn't so bad.
God bless
