So I weighed in on Sunday and I was so shocked I weighed myself 3 more times! I lost 5 POUNDS! I honestly couldn't believe it! After so many weeks of .5lb changes I would have been pleased with 1 or 2 pounds. I was feeling so behind but this jump makes me feel like I haven't lost any time, that I'm still on track. It's really important to my husband and I that I lose this weight. We want to have another child but after the complications that I had the first time, I don't want to be overweight for round two. All the problems I had are on the list of risks for over weight pregnant women and I was relatively healthy and still had them. I just can't do it again if it will pretty much guarantee risks for me and my next child. Not when I'm pretty sure I can prevent them! So I'm really happy with my weigh in this week. I went back to eating more veggies and I think it made all the difference. I still count the calories, but having the fiber and drinking the water just sort of amplifies my efforts!! So if I ccould give you all any advice it would be these things: at breakfast focus on fiber and protein, it helps you all day!; make sure you get plenty of veggies at lunch and dinner, and try to drink like a gallon of water a day ( I mean that literally). It gives me energy and makes me feel better than anything else I've tried!
Carry on all! I know we have good days and bad, but you can't get to the good days if you quit on the bad ones!!
