Hey guys, happy Monday! I had a good weekend...
FRiday is date night for Frank and I so we went to our fave little Mexican restaurant. I had chips and salsa and a chicken salad, no cheese, no fried shell, then we went to movies and saw Pacific Rim (no popcorn) and I stayed in my ranges .
Saturday, we went to the races and watched our friends. I had gone to the farmers market and got fresh strawberries and nectarines so I took those with us and got TOGOS sandwiches for lunch and we ate half then took the other half with us so we wouldn't eat junk. We brought one of our friends and we talked about not eating nachos at the races that night. Which then lead to a whole meal planning session for the 3 day race we are going to in 2 weeks. We are gonna have great food and help each other not eat crap. AND we are going to make our own HEALTHY Nachos that will be way better than crappy racetrack ones. we will be camping there and we have both have RV's so we can do this! I'm really stoked to have that support and we will also walk her dog each day (my baby will be staying home where she's more comfortable).
Yesterday I made breakfast, bacon and eggs, then we went for a good solid walk with Stitchy, came home, vacuumed, spent some time "connecting" like spouses need to do, then had a great stir fry dinner and watched TV (grown ups the movie)
So all in all, we had a good weekend. I lost another pound and I have a food plan for all week except for Tuesday night. We are going to see a comic (Jim gaffigan) and I'm not sure where we are going to eat yet but I will be OK.
I'm feeling really good, strong, proud of myself and each day, it builds so I am getting more committed, healthier.
