Listen to my birds (10sec video)

Monday, July 15, 2013

This morning I went for a triplet, and was amazed how my sense of temperature changed during the different sports!
30 minute bike ride - I felt cold, but speedy!
12 minute trail run - I felt hot, and relaxed!
13 minute swim - The water felt warm, and endless!

I also used the bike to commute to a nice forest nearby.
I was struck by the silence, and the noise.
I loved the birds singing!

Do you have any nature around to get outside for exercise?

Update:
As it is "background sound" for the phone mic, it is low volume on the recording. In the forest, it was loud for me! :-)

I Love the video, the birds sounded so peaceful. In the morning here in Texas if you get up right at the sunrise the birds that are at our home sing so beautiful. The day was in the 70's so it was overall a nice day for a walk!

I heard the birds and enjoyed it so much we have been having torrential downpours for days so the birds have taken cover thanks for brightening my day!

I enjoyed the bird, too; and the beautiful forest setting.
Today I jogged out in the neighborhood where I saw several squirrels playing in the trees.

I love the sounds of birds each morning. On my morning walks just outside my door I see deer, wild turkeys, jack rabbits, woodpeckers, and a variety of other types of birds. I also enjoy all the many varieties of trees and all the vegetation.

Your start to your morning sound wonderful with your diverse activity. You know how to stay healthy and happy!

This week is brutal hot in the Philadelphia area-- temperatures dancing with 100 with high humidity and nasty heat indexes nearing 105.

Even so, there is a wonderful amount of nature here -- white clay creek and several great parks. Including one that hosts a "family under the stars" night where you camp with your children and look at the stars and hike and enjoy nature. Between that and the trails I enjoy hiking, there is much to do. Just not at these temperatures.

Hopefully it's cooler there and you're able to get out before the warmth makes it all feel too much.

Interesting how subjective the temperature was. Any thoughts why?

Seems like when I walk outside I'm surrounded with both nature and nurture. The folks in the few cars that go by almost always wave and smile.

I heard the birds towards the end. I'll play it again with my hearing aids in. The path looks so peaceful.
I love having my coffee in the garden with the birds chirping away.
