emoticon for the info. I'm trying to do some of things they suggested - mainly get my weight under control. I can actually tell a big difference in my knees now with the gradual loss this year and plenty of this - emoticon

I was amazed at how much weight you put on the knees by running. The doctor always t old my husband to walk, not run. I can see why.

emoticon Irene. It is true that the less I weigh, the better my knees feel.
Between scoliosis, and landscaping for years, plus a few pair of not so good shoes, I really do have to watch my knees.
I am much better at the warning signals.
(I did some leg lifts, as I read the article.)

Thanks for sharing this really great article with us Irene. I was amazed by how much pressure I'm putting on my knees with the extra weight, wow! No wonder they ache so much!
